Martin Hayes is regarded as one of the most extraordinary talents to emerge in the world of Irish traditional music. He is the recipient of major national and international awards, including six All-Ireland fiddle championships and has been cited by the Irish Sunday Tribune as one of the hundred most influential Irish men and women. He is one of the most important musicians to come out of Ireland in the last fifty years.
Uilleann piper David Power is a member of groups Masters of Tradition and Pipers Union. He performed in the off-Broadway production Love’s Pure Light, recorded music for the Irish Repertory Theatre’s The Field and was an actor/musician in the Broadway production of Eugene O’Neill’s A Touch of the Poet, starring Gabriel Byrne. He has three critically acclaimed solo recordings My Love is in America (2005), Cuachín Ghleann Neifin (2007), and The Eighteen Moloney (2014). He has performed with poets including Seamus Heaney, Michael Davitt, Kerry Hardie, Dermot Bolger, Maighread Medbh, Clodagh Beresford-Dunne, Doireann ní Ghríofa, and Robert Pinsky.
